Terms

These terms explain the basis on which Dashna discusses, quotes and creates bespoke jewellery. Your final quotation or order confirmation may contain additional commission-specific terms.

Enquiries, consultations and quotations

Initial virtual consultations and bespoke quotations are complimentary. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract and does not require payment. A commission only proceeds after the design and quotation are agreed with you.

Design approval

We will ask you to review the agreed design, gemstone, metal, sizing and other important specifications before production begins. You are responsible for checking that the approved information is correct.

Payment

Once your design and quotation are approved, a 50% deposit is required before production begins. The remaining 50% is due once the piece is complete and before dispatch. Any different payment arrangement will be stated clearly in your quotation.

Pricing

Every bespoke commission is individually quoted. Prices depend on factors including gemstone selection, precious metal, design complexity, certification, sizing and other commission requirements. A quotation is valid for the period stated on that quotation.

Lead times

Most bespoke commissions are expected to take approximately 4–8 weeks after design approval and deposit, but this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Complex designs, gemstone sourcing, certification or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect timing.

Changes after approval

Unlimited revisions to your agreed design are available during the preview stage. A different piece or stone may require a revised quotation. Once you have approved the final design and paid the deposit, revisions close and production design work begins.

Cancellation and custom-made pieces

Bespoke jewellery is made to individual requirements. Cancellation and change-of-mind rights for custom-made goods can differ from those applying to standard products. The cancellation and refund position applicable to your commission will be explained in your quotation before you pay a deposit. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

Gemstones and natural variation

Natural gemstones may vary in colour, tone, clarity, inclusions and other characteristics. Images and screens can also reproduce colour differently. We will describe and present stones as accurately as reasonably possible, but natural variation is part of the character of gemstone jewellery.

Certification

Where certification is requested or appropriate, the available options will depend on the gemstone and commission. Any laboratory or third-party certificate is issued by that organisation and is subject to its own standards and grading practices.

Ring sizing

We can work from a ring size supplied by you or guide you through sizing. Where you provide a size, you are responsible for checking it is correct before production. Any resizing options or charges after completion will depend on the design and materials.

Delivery

Complimentary insured UK delivery is included unless your quotation states otherwise. We will normally require a secure delivery address and may require a signature or other delivery confirmation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights you have under UK consumer law. If you believe your piece is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as agreed, contact us promptly at hello@dashna.co.uk.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Dashna retains rights in its original sketches, renders, photographs, website content and design materials. You may use commission materials we provide for personal purposes but should not reproduce them commercially without permission.

Contact and contract information

Contact us at hello@dashna.co.uk. Before a binding order is placed, your quotation or order confirmation will identify the contracting business and provide the business contact details and address applicable to your purchase.

Governing law

These terms are intended for customers in the United Kingdom and are governed by applicable UK law, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
